Because, that's been a problem in the past too. Max's own affinity for high fashion doesn't mean he finds anything less than unattractive. Sometimes, he's a little jealous, actually. He's been conditioned to care about his looks to this degree, to the point where it's hard to relax about it. It might be nice to just not give a fuck.
But any further worries about that go right by the wayside as Rowan lists off all the various ways they could have each other. Fashion is the farthest thing from his mind now.
"I think," Max says, dropping his voice low and sensual, "it's going to be hard to pick just one." So hard. He's already so hard.
Warm tingles dance in his belly as he's led by the throat into the room. The door shuts softly behind them. Now, they can really start the fun.
"First of all, I'm just dying to get this investigation underway." He steps in close and runs hands down Rowan's chest, paying close attention to any curve of the flesh he might feel beneath the fabric. "You've kept me in such a state of suspense."
