Max can almost picture it, with that look on Corbin's face. He smiles wide at the compliment. It doesn't matter how many times anyone says they love his cooking, it never gets old for him.
"Glad you approve. Have as much as you want."
He'll take the pan and set right to work washing and greasing it. Then in the oven it goes.
"Okay," he said, bumping the oven closed with his hip, "That should be done in an hour now. We've got some time to kill."
