His heart is still beating so fast, he can hear it in his ears making a sweet post coital music as it mingles with Rowan's breathing. The kind of music he could fall peacefully asleep to. He's got a few things to clean up first.
But not yet. He wants to stay like this holding Rowan just a little longer. He'll trail his fingernails lightly over their back, drawing lazy circles while he appreciates this wonderful afterglow. This feels so safe and right. He almost can't believe it's true.
