"Definitely deserve it." Rowan replies immediately, although their tone is still soft. It's hard to be as insistent as they should be about something like that when they feel so limp and relaxed. They lay over Max heavily as their breathing slowly adjusts back to normal, even with his fingers trailing what feels like a burning path over their back. They should move to take more of their weight, or clear up somewhat, but they can't muster the energy, eyelids heavy.
Finally, they find the strength to lift one hand and curl it around Max's shoulder, lifting their head just enough to catch his gaze. "Will you stay?" They ask, hopefully.
