[Beautifully wrapped in a small box left outside his door, Max will find a white silk cravat, along with a diamond cravat pin from those of Akeldama's own collection that were returned to him.
There's also a note in beautiful cursive:]
My dearest Max,
Wishing you the season's greetings, and thinking of you at the start of a new year.
[Max smiles as he lifts the gorgeous silk cravat from the box and strokes his finger over it. Then, his eyes go a little wide when he takes up the pin that accompanies it. That's a real diamond (and a big one). It's beautiful and so tasteful. just like the man who gifted it. Max finds himself hoping his own gift, ironically another cravat pin, will live up to these same standards.
Regardless, Max is looking forward to showing Akeldama just how much he loves it, by wearing it around the next time they meet. He puts it on now, just to practice and make sure he still remembers how to tie it. He does. And it looks amazing.]
