Businesses? Yeah, no. Zevran wasn't going to get a job like a normal person. Not unless that job involved him killing people for money or maybe whoring about. Which, conveniently, was what the Fae paid him to do anyway. So he was good.
Zevran grinned, toeing his boots off onto the kitchen floor so he would scuff up the cabinets when he started kicking his legs back and forth while Max spoke. "Royal is it? Well, cover me with frosting and call me the king of Ferelden. What are you waiting for?" He was already undoing the buckles around his waist to get his shirt the rest of the way open.
"I'll certainly make you feel like a king by the time I'm done with you."
He took a moment to appreciate the sight of Zevran starting to undo his pants and open his shirt. But then he got to work preparing his icing. Gotta get it in a piping bag, which he kneads and massages in his hands suggestively for Zevran to watch. That was part showmanship but also needed to bring the icing up to temperature. Wouldn't want it to be too cold.
"I always said I should be treated like one." He purred, letting his shirt slip off his shoulders and fall onto the counter behind him, his pants undone not long after so he could carefully shimmy out of them without moving too far off the counter. Should he turn around? You know what, he will, just kinda...move some stuff aside so he can roll onto his stomach, chin resting in his palms, legs bent behind him like a young woman at a slumber party.
"Mm..." He hummed thoughtfully. "Well, since we are already on the topic - why not a crown? A fancy one, of course. Jewel encrusted." Put those skills to work.
"You're already on the path to it with that ego," he teased lightly.
Luckily for Zevran, Max had fucked or been fucked on this countertop enough times to know better than to keep anything too valuable or bulky up there. So, the elf won't have to much out of his way.
"Oh, of course. Only the fanciest for you. I can't help but notice you already seem to have a great affinity for marks on your body." Max lightly traced a finger over a section of the tattoo on Zevran's shoulder.
"Ego? Me?" Perish the thought! "I have no idea what you're talking about, Max."
Getting comfortable, Zevran folded his arms on the counter and tilted his head to rest his cheek atop his forearm, humming softly while Max took his time examining his form. Closing his eyes, he shrugged lightly.
"Some were given to me by the Crows after I joined, and others are simply meant to accentuate certain parts of the body to make it more appealing." Like the ones along his ribs and over his hips, accenting musculature and curves that made him look even more sleek and slender than he already was. "Are you interested in getting a tattoo? I could certainly make recommendations."
Max chuckled. Yeah. No idea. Sure. Not that Max thought there was anything wrong with having an ego, especially a well-earned one.
"Oh, like these?" Max traced his fingers down Zevran's ribs. "They do a good job of it." Vanity marks were a lot better than other possible reasons.
"I don't know. I've thought about it before. But, I have a little bit of a weird history with body marks. I guess I haven't decided yet if it's right for me."
Max took up the piping bag and started to trace out the lines of a crown on Zevran's lower back.
"It might be fun to try, though. I'm warming up to the idea more the longer I'm here."
Zevran tilted his head so his cheek rested atop his folded arms, little goosebumps rising along the path of Max's finger.
"They can be a bit painful in places, but I fully support you getting some yourself - I can already think of a few designs that would look good on you." He smirked, shivering when the icing touched his skin. "You will have to give me a mirror to see that before you lick it off."
"Yeah? What do you think would look good on me?" He is a little curious now.
Max's hands are steady and sure as he fills in more details. "I'll show you, I promise. You can hold the mirror yourself and watch while I lick it off, too."
