"I'm ready when you are, but I understand if you need a bit to think on it."

"If you wouldn't mind terribly, I would like a little time to think, yes. I want to really process what you've told me."

"I really don't mind at all. I know it's a lot. Would you like me to come back at the same time tomorrow instead?"

"Yes. Yes, I think I should be ready by then. And I can have a fresh loaf of bread and a pot of tea waiting."

"That sounds lovely. Thank you. I'll bring some fresh lemon curd to have on it, too." Fresh bread with some of that is a slice of heaven. "Before I go, though, is there anything else you wanted to know or ask?"
